Reporting to our Director, Ecommerce and Omni, our Ecommerce Merchandiser Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our website including product listing pages, banners, promotional content and filters. You will collaborate with multiple cross-functional partners to onboard new product while leveraging google analytics to develop customer insights to optimize the customer experience.

 

The ideal candidate is recent graduate with 1-2 years experience in an ecommerce focused role. You have a true love for retail and Ecommerce and thrive to deliver an incredible ecommerce customer experience. You are eager, passionate and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a desire to constantly learn, develop and grow.

Job Duties:

  • Support with day-to-day management of Northern Reflections and Northern Traditions websites, including adding/updating/removing product listing pages, banners, promotional content, filters etc.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure all online content, images, and product merchandising are aligned to meet all requirements.
  • Collaborate with Marketing/Product Team to onboard new products to our multiple Ecommerce sites
  • Leverage Google Analytics to develop customer insights and optimize the user experience to improve conversion, AOV and customer retention.
  • Own the on-site customer journey – monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to shorten our customer’s path to purchase and identify cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities.
  • In partnership with the marketing team, implement SEO strategies to optimize company’s digital presence on search engines.
  • Work closely with internal and external partners on new Ecommerce enhancements and product initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in an Ecommerce focused role. Retail experience an asset
  • Deep passion for product and the role merchandising site content plays in a customer’s shopping experience
  • College diploma or University degree in Business or related discipline
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including the ability to understand and write formulas
  • Ability to work with features and functionalities of mainstream ecommerce (BigCommerce, Shopify, Adobe Commerce, etc.) and email platforms
  • Experience with Ecommerce analytics tools such as Google Analytics
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and ability to multi-task and meet competing deadlines often
  • A curious, analytical mind with the ability to adapt to new technologies
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative problem solver with a strong work ethic
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
