ECOMMERCE OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

 

Reporting to the Director, Ecommerce & Omni, the Ecommerce Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the day to day running of our Northern Reflections ecommerce website. This includes overseeing all ecommerce category merchandising, executing pricing and implementing new product enhancements to the website. You will prepare and analyze reports, gather and analyze customer behaviour, evaluate KPIs and provide your recommendations to improve results and the customer experience.

Job Duties:

  • Provides day-to-day responsibility for the running of the Northern Reflections ecommerce websites including updating categories, banners, filters etc.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to execute website merchandising best practices
  • Executes Ecommerce pricing and promotions
  • Prepares and analyzes Ecomm reports daily, weekly, quarterly, and yearly
  • Onboards new product to Ecomm site as required
  • Gathers and analyzes customer data to assist with the understanding on customer behaviour to drive sales growth and an improved customer experience
  • Partners with Marketing & Creative teams to ensure a consistent and on-brand website experience
  • Evaluates ecommerce data/KPIs to understand business/customer trends and provides recommendations
  • Oversees Ecomm Products (eg. Reviews, payment processing etc.)
  • Other related duties as required or assigned

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in an Ecommerce focused role. Retail experience an asset
  • College diploma or University degree in Business or related discipline
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including the ability to understand and write formulas
  • Ability to work with features and functionalities of mainstream ecommerce (BigCommerce, Shopify, Magento, etc.) and email platforms
  • Experience with Ecommerce analytics tools such as Google Analytics
  • Proficient understanding of web/responsive design and UX trends an asset
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and ability to multi-task and meet competing deadlines often
  • A curious, analytical mind with the ability to adapt to new technologies
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative problem solver with a strong work ethic
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
